Frequently asked questions
Completely. Our retreats in Wimbledon are designed to be welcoming for all levels — whether you've never set foot on a mat or have been practising for years. Steph teaches in a way that meets everyone where they are, offering alternatives and adjustments so that no one feels out of their depth. If you can breathe, you can do this.
Our Wimbledon yoga retreats centre around Hatha and Yin — two practices that work beautifully together. Yin is slow, floor-based and deeply restorative, targeting the connective tissue and inviting genuine stillness. Hatha brings a little more movement and strengthening into the mix. Some retreats focus purely on Yin, while others weave both together. Either way, the pace is unhurried and the focus is always on how you feel, not how you look.
All food is vegetarian, seasonal and freshly prepared by our private chef Sophie — think beautiful canapés and sharing plates made with as much care as the yoga. A week before your Wimbledon retreat we'll be in touch to ask about any dietary requirements or allergies, so nobody goes hungry and nobody misses out.
Our Wimbledon yoga retreat takes place in a beautiful private orangery, 10 minutes walk from Wimbledon station, and 5 minutes walk from Wimbledon village. We share the full address with confirmed guests a week before the event — so once you're booked, we'll be in touch with everything you need to know.
Yes — we love a private event. We can host groups of up to 10 people for a bespoke three-hour retreat in Wimbledon, including exclusive room hire, 90 minutes of yoga followed by canapés from our private chef Sophie. We'll work with you on a menu in the lead-up to the event. Get in touch at hello@yogaretreatforfoodies.com to start the conversation.
